“The National High-Tech Research and Development (863 plan)”--a development plan raised by the Ministry of Science and Technology of The People’s Republic of China -- whose major project “Solid State Laser and Its Application technology” of new Material techno sphere, and all project metaphase checking meeting of year 2006 and 2007 is convened in Siasun.

Bian Shuguang (chief of Material Branch of The High Technology Research and Development Center), Professor Su Xiaohu, Chen Hongda (researcher of Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Science), Feng Mali (professor of Tesinghua University), Guying (processor of China PLA General Hospital),  Zeng Xiaoyan (professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology), Biyong (researcher of The Institute of Optics and Electronics The Chinese Academy of Science), Li Yongkang (researcher of Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, CAS), Xujun (researcher of Shanghai Institute of Ceramic, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and other experts who are working on new material development attended this meeting.

During this meeting, 14 subjects of “Solid State laser and Its Application” within new Metairie field were checked. Manager Xing Feitian of Siasun laser technology department, made report on implement situation of Siasun undertakes subject of “Industrialized High Power Solid State Laser and Welding Set Equipments”, he also clearly analyzed the achieved breakthroughs and solutions for difficulties during the research.
